My Story

Sheela has created a holistic, hands-on learning environment for Aurora children, designed to encourage them to achieve their full potential.

She graduated with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Finance and Advanced Accounting,  has over 25 years experience in the Corporate, Financial and Business Advisory sectors, as CFO, Commercial Finance Director and other senior management positions in blue chip organisations around the world, such as Time Warner, IBM and HCL Technology.

She brings a unique spiritual and committed approach to early childhood development and her dedication shows in Aurora’s premium quality education and care. She transitioned into owning and running her own Early Childhood service after being inspired by her own experiences as a parent.

Sheela has gained much of her experience in understanding the sector first hand. She focuses her attention on ensuring that her leadership team and the staff are aligned to her vision of ensuring that every moment with every child matters and is given a loving environment in which he or she has the best opportunities for learning.

Sheela supports critical reflection and higher order thinking, embraces the use of technology to bring about efficiencies in the organization’s performance and commands a high quality of delivery from all around her. Sheela spends most of her time working closely with the Aurora team and in operations. She enjoys the challenges of the rapidly changing landscape in the early learning sector and strives to integrate the very latest educational research and thought innovations into the Aurora model.
