In Seamist Studio this month, there have been a few birthdays to celebrate.
It’s so important to recognise and share in a birthday celebration with each and every child in the room. Watching the children’s faces light up as their friends sing ‘Happy Birthday’ and having fun blowing out the candles is a delight!
Birthdays are significant milestones for children and it’s wonderful when they can be recognised and celebrated along with friends. Children develop a strong sense of belonging and they develop a deeper sense of identity when engaging in such celebrations.
We are fortunate to have an ‘on site’ cook who ensures all cakes are made fresh and with quality ingredients. All dietary considerations are taken into account when preparing each child’s cake.
For this celebration, we had some banana cakes with yummy chocolate icing!
