It has been great to see a lot of peer mentoring occurring in Moonglade over the last couple of weeks. The children have been so engaged in many of the activities and not only learning to calmly resolve disputes but we have noticed that they have been very interested in sharing their skills and abilities with others in the room.

The educators will continue to encourage this behavior as it not only develops a great sense of ownership over the child’s learning but also a sense of responsibility and confidence in sharing knowledge. Equally important is that it solidifies the learning of concepts for the child doing the sharing.
