The children in Moonglade have been involved in making a variety of different coloured play dough each week. The educators have been focusing on some key numeracy concepts such as colour identification and measuring to build children’s knowledge in these areas. Next week the children will start to mix primary colours to see what new colours can be made. Of course, the children don’t even realise there is so much learning occurring – they are just happy to enjoy the experience of playing with the play dough once it is made!
