Although they’re so tiny, chia seeds are packed with healthy fats, nutrients and energy. They’re generally used as toppings for smoothies or milkshakes, but for a bigger dose of their deliciousness, Aurora Early Education recommends whipping up this chia seed pudding recipe which is quick and easy. Get your child to help you mix up the pudding!

Ingredients: 

2 tbsp cocoa powder
3 tbsp organic honey
¼ cup chia seeds
1 cup milk
1 green apple, chopped
1 kiwi fruit, chopped

Directions: 

Mix the chia seeds and cocoa powder together.
Stir in the milk and allow the seeds to soak for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cover with seran wrap and refrigerate overnight.
The next morning, stir in the honey and chopped fruit.
Top with a drizzle of honey, serve and enjoy.
