During Outdoor Play and Outdoor Environment this week the educators have been talking to the children about how important it is to water the plants and check on the trees as they get very thirsty when it is hot outside during the Summer.

The educators let the children choose what device they want to use for watering the plant highlighting that there are other options than just a watering can. The children are then prompted to select which plants they would like to water.

Through this sort of simple activity it is easy to gauge which children have developed an understanding of the importance of caring for the Natural Environment.
