There are several Mother’s Day events happening across Melbourne this weekend which are the perfect opportunity for mothers to spend quality time with their little ones. Here are what Aurora Early Education Centre recommends!

Omaru Alpacas Open Day


Drive a little out of town to Hurstbridge which is having a Mother’s Day Open Farm Event. Children will love watching the alpacas play and can take part in a face painting event after 12pm. There’ll be some delicious sausage dishes and hot beverages.

High Tea at the Melbourne Zoo

Restaurants Associate is hosting a Mother’s Day High Tea at the Melbourne Zoo which will include a buffet style meal, starting with a complimentary glass of champagne. After taking a photo at the photo booth of your family, head into the Zoo to explore.

Jams For Juniors

To get children excited about  classical music, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is hosting jam sessions for children between 0-5. These jams will include compositions from composers like Mahler and Bernstein. The sessions are at 10am, 11am, 12 noon and 1pm.
