Melbourne Russian Festival

The Melbourne Russian Festival is a great fun filled festival for kids as well

Linlithgow Avenue will be transformed into a miniature Russian village on April 21st. The festival will include live performances, masterclasses and delicious food; your little one will be delighted by the riot of colour and activity. There’ll also be a children’s village with face painting, an animal farm and lots of games. Take your little one to the festival to give them a deeper understanding of culture, which helps them establish a stronger sense of identity and enhances tolerance and empathy.

Malaysia Day Festival

Another cultural festival to put on your plan is the Malaysia Day festival which will feature delicious Malaysian dishes and a program of Malaysian music and dance. Take your little one to the costume stall for them to try on a traditional outfit and take some gorgeous photos.

Aladdin and the Arabian Tales

Head to the Frankston Waterfront with your child to see artists and sculptors transforming tonnes of sand into intricate characters from the Arabian Nights including Aladdin, Jasmine and the mischievous monkey, Abu.

Brat Kids Carnival

Also a part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Brat Kids Carnival is a lively show which has jugglers, hula hoopers, trapeze artists, tumblers, contortionists and lots and lots of humour that will have both children and adults in fits of laughter. Brat Kids is a part of Channel 10’s Totally Wild show so you can be assured a top end performance.
