This weekend will be a long weekend for many as we prepare to celebrate Easter on April 1st. As you plan your weekend, keep in mind that there are several events around the city which will promise a fun time for your little one:

Easter Egg Hunt

Just like the most exciting part of Christmas for children is eyeing and opening the presents under the tree, they look forward to Easter egg hunts on Easter Sunday. If you’re not having one in your home or neighborhood, then take your children to the Clarendon Centre which is having a grand Easter Egg hunt from 10am through 3pm. The event will also have other fun activities like face painting and Easter crafts.

Date: Sunday, 31st March

Imagination Magic

This event will feature a variety of performers including musicians, fairies and clowns with acts that are designed to delight babies, toddlers and preschool children. The performers will encourage children’s interactions and aim at creating a sensory rich program for their audience.

Date: 10 am, Thursday, 29th March

Grab Some Hot Cross Buns

This list collates the best places to have hot cross buns across Melbourne with bakeries like Woodfrog Bakery and Dench Bakers. Each bakery has its own special twist on hot cross buns; many of which your child will love!

The Mighty Little Ones Puppet Show

A part of the ongoing Comedy Festival, this show is partially an improvisation which allows the children in the audience to choose which puppet they like best and how they want the story to progress.
