We started our Hey Dee Ho session with a game of ‘duck duck goose’. The children had fun chasing their friends. Then, the children were encouraged to do some stretching while listening to the music; rolling their shoulders, shaking their hips, stretching their legs and arms and shaking their whole bodies.
Then it was time for team games. The children stood in two rows and balanced the bean bags on their bodies. They had fun cheering for their teams. It was fun dancing to the music with pom poms. The session was ended pretending the children were racing cars. Our Hey Dee Ho programs are set up in conjunction with the Australian Institute of Music and Childhood Development to help stimulate learning and development of our children on a number of fronts!
