Today we set up an art activity to assist in introducing the children to Australian reptiles and amphibians. Cotton buds with four different coloured paints were provided along with templates of snakes and frogs for the children to paint on.
The children in Moonglade were very busy concentrating on their designs and explored a variety of paint colours by mixing different colours together.
The children were very proud of their creations and took them home to share with their families.
Educators will build on children’s knowledge by discussing Australian reptiles and amphibians (snakes and frogs) along with providing a range of picture books for the children to explore during quiet reading time.
