Pre- Kinder
Our pre-kinder program is run in our Moonglade Studio with a strong focus on social, physical and emotional development. We encourage curiosity and eagerness to learn through creative methods such as art, music and ‘hands on’ experiences, focusing in the second half of the year on skill building in readiness for kindergarten the following year.
Interesting and engaging resources and materials help facilitate and encourage children to engage in play, which is how they learn best. Many opportunities arise throughout each day where the group comes together to share understandings and ask questions as well as share information.
Pre Kinder Curriculum
Bachelor Qualified Teachers
Our Pre-Kinder program is delivered by Bachelor qualified staff that are well versed in early childhood education best practice, sharing Aurora’s commitment to nurturing your child in a safe, supportive learning environment.
Transitions
Research has found that when a child has a positive transition period in their early years, they are more likely to view and handle transitions positively in their later lives. Our school readiness program prepares your child to transition seamlessly and successfully from kindergarten to school and lays the foundation for a lifetime of positive learning experiences.
Mentor Program
Our mentor program runs between our pre-kinder and kinder rooms. Each child is paired with someone who can mentor and guide them through social play and activities. Children gain an insight into how the Kinder room is run, creating capable and confident learners when entering the Kinder environment in the following year.

Enrolment
Aurora offers full time and part time positions for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. All positions are for the full day, allowing families to attend at any time during operational hours.
